We are seeking a Senior Content Marketing Manager to lead the strategy, development, and execution of content across the full customer lifecycle. This role owns Yes Energy’s content engine—translating business priorities, customer insights, and go-to-market strategy into compelling, high-impact content that drives pipeline, engagement, and customer growth. Working closely with the Director of Customer Marketing, you will be responsible for bringing our content strategy to life, ensuring consistency, quality, and measurable business impact across all channels, including our social media presence. 

  • Base Salary Range: $110,000 - $130,000
  • Location: Hybrid (Boulder, CO)
  • Schedule: Full-time; 2 days in the office
  • Reporting to: Director of Customer Marketing
  • Travel Requirements: Up to 10%

Responsibilities

  • Own the development and execution of an integrated content strategy that supports demand generation and customer retention.
  • Translate complex power market concepts and product features into high-impact thought leadership, blog posts, case studies, and whitepapers.
  • Drive Yes Energy’s social media presence, developing platform-specific strategies to increase brand reach and community engagement. 
  • Manage the editorial calendar and content workflow, ensuring a consistent brand voice and high quality across all outputs.
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts (SMEs) across the organization to extract insights and turn them into compelling narratives.
  • Partner with the Demand Generation team to create content that optimizes the buyer journey and improves conversion rates.
  • Build and maintain a reporting framework to measure content performance, including organic traffic, engagement, and contribution to pipeline.
  • Leverage AI and automation tools to improve content discoverability, operational efficiency, and performance.
  • Oversee SEO strategy for content, ensuring all assets are optimized for search rankings and visibility.

Requirements

  • 5–7+ years of experience in B2B content marketing, preferably in SaaS or a technical industry like energy or finance.
  • Proven experience owning and executing a full-funnel content strategy, not just contributing to individual assets.
  • Exceptional writing, editing, and storytelling skills, with a portfolio demonstrating the ability to simplify technical concepts.
  • Demonstrated success in creating content that drives measurable business outcomes (pipeline, engagement, customer growth).
  • Strong proficiency in marketing tools such as HubSpot, Google Analytics, and SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush).
  • Strategic Influence: Leads through expertise and initiative, shaping cross-team outcomes and building coalitions around a shared content vision.
  • Problem Solving: Frames and solves complex content challenges, designing durable editorial solutions that align with business strategy.
  • Systems Thinking: Understands how content, technology, and data interact to drive scalable GTM solutions.
  • Prioritization & Time Management: Discipline to manage a high-volume editorial calendar and adapt plans as market priorities shift.
  • Brand & Identity: Deep understanding of how to maintain a consistent brand voice while tailoring messages for diverse personas.
  • Editorial Excellence: A commitment to high standards in research, accuracy, and beat mastery within the energy domain.
  • Curiosity: A growth mindset with a proactive approach to learning about evolving power markets and new marketing technologies.
  • Digital Content Production: Ability to create and publish high-quality multimedia content that upholds editorial standards and maximizes platform engagement.
