About the Role
~1 min read- Develop, parameterize and validate plant models in MATLAB/Simulink and port them to OPAL-RT targets (RT-LAB / HYPERSIM)
- Build I/O configurations, signal routing and fault-injection scenarios for the bench
- Tune model fidelity against reference data and document model assumptions and limits
- Support closed-loop integration runs with the US lead; analyze results and iterate models
- Produce model documentation, test evidence and weekly status inputs
- 4–7 years in control systems, power electronics simulation or real-time modelling
- Hands-on OPAL-RT or equivalent (dSPACE, Speedgoat, Typhoon HIL) experience — mandatory
- Strong MATLAB/Simulink, Stateflow; C/C++ for S-functions
- Understanding of power converters, PWM control, PID/state-space control, and sensor/actuator modelling
- BE/ME in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation or Controls
