The Account Specialist, Growth is a crucial part of our sales cycle, responsible for ensuring the success and satisfaction of our high-volume transactional customers. This position plays a vital role in articulating the value of 1Password to customers and prospects, assisting, and creating strong relationships with our inbound clients and matching our product with the customers needs.
Additionally, this role helps with driving value for our customers and provides best practice guidance on using the platform, ultimately leading to expanding our current and new customer base. This role requires a proactive and customer-focused individual with a passion for technology and a commitment to delivering world-class customer experiences with new and existing customers.
This is designated as an in-office role. You are expected to work from 1Password’s downtown Toronto/Austin office on a full-time basis (3-5 days/week).
Note: All go-to market roles will have an in-person onboarding in Toronto.
1+ years in a Sales, Account management, Customer success, or related role preferably in a SaaS environment
Proven ability to effectively manage a pipeline with consistent performance against various sales metrics (revenue quota, sales target, etc)
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and demands.
Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients to achieve sales goals.
Strong communication skills with a demonstrated ability to articulate complex technical terms in a digestible way
Demonstrated experience handling a high volume of inbound customer inquiries through various channels (e.g, phone, email, and chat)
Strong organizational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously, ensuring Customer issues are resolved in a timely manner
Strong interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability in building customer relationships
Preferred: Experience with 1Password or other password managers
Preferred: Experience with Salesforce, Gainsight etc. or related
Oversee a portfolio of clients, supporting users and prospects by understanding their goals and resolving pain points with our solutions.
Qualify leads, understand their business requirements, and manage the entire deal cycle from discovery through close (e.g organizing demos, providing proposals, ensuring successful onboarding handoff, etc.).
Fostering and nurturing clients needs and leverage internal subject matter experts to ensure they are answered accurately and in a timely manner
Proactively engage clients to assess customer experience and current usage of product, and identify upsell opportunities
Collaborate with internal teams (Customer Success, Onboarding, etc.) to ensure timely deal closures
Share client feedback and requirements with cross-functional teams (growth, marketing, operations, etc.) to ensure we're working on projects that support business goals and raise client satisfaction
Monitor metrics and KPIs (activity metrics, time to close, average deal size, etc.) and take action on any trends observed
Utilize Salesforce to accurately manage, track, and report sales activities and results
USA-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $60,000 USD and $81,000 USD, and is commission-eligible. This role is also immediate participation in 1Password's benefits program (health, dental, 401k and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
Canada-based roles only: The annual base salary for this role is between $55,000 CAD and $75,000 CAD and is commission-eligible. This role is also eligible for immediate participation in 1Password’s generous benefits program (health, dental, RRSP and many others), utilization of our generous paid time off, an equity grant and, where applicable, participation in our incentive programs.
