Senior Manager: Actuarial

Job Summary

• Provide oversight, direction and management to the risk and investments team.
• Design and implement value propositions that deliver customer value and business performance.
• Maintain products throughout the product life cycle
• Conduct comprehensive product research and develop a strong product knowledge
• Develop business cases that are reliable, robust and well tested
• Implement new reinsurance treaties and amendments to existing treaties
• Develop strong knowledge of best practices in relevant areas
• Identify and understand risks in projects and know the obstacles that are in the path, and put in place risk mitigation strategies

• Qualified actuary (part qualified actuaries with appropriate experience will be considered).
• Proven experience in developing life insurance value propositions (experience in risk and investment products an advantage).
• Extensive knowledge and experience with life assurance products, including reinsurance.
• Minimum 5 years work experience.
