Application Lab Technician

We are looking for an Application Lab Technician to join our team and support the Flavors Savory business in North America. 
This position is a key member of the Sensient team, where you will be required to collaborate onsite in Hoffman Estates, 5 days per week.

What you’ll do:
•    Assist scientists to prepare application formulas
•    Evaluate flavor library by organizing and setting up internal sensory screenings
•    Fulfill sample requests and assist with pilot runs in a timely manner
•    Operate, understand and interpret analytical test equipment

What you’ll bring:
•    Associated degree preferred – High School or GED Diploma minimum.
•    Attention to detail and effective time management are critical for success.
•    Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
•    Must be able to stand for prolonged periods and be able to occasionally lift up to 25lbs.

The hourly pay for this position is $26 to $33 per hour.  Pay within the range is based on several factors, which may include, but are not limited to, education, work experience, specialized training, and labor market conditions. In addition to salary, Sensient is proud to offer a comprehensive and competitive benefits program to support the holistic well-being of our employees and their families.
