Sensient Technologies Australia is a fast growing business unit within the Sensient Flavours & Colours, Asia-Pacific Group.  We provide quality food ingredients to our customers on a world-wide basis and are highly successful through our attention to customer service, creative technological innovation and product quality.

We are looking for a self-driven Quality Control Technician. You are required to focusing on daily raw material/finished product testing, ERP data entry, and GMP compliance. Your responsibilities include rotating through physical/chemical, color matching, and microbiological analysis, plus supporting audits and corrective actions.

This exciting role will be 100% based in our Keysborough, Australia facility.

Responsibilities

  • Laboratory Testing: Perform daily routine testing on raw materials and finished products, ensuring conformity with company standards.
  • Documentation & Compliance: Manage data entry in the company ERP system, inspect incoming materials, and maintain GMP standards.
  • Operational Rotation: Work across three departments (Physical/Chemical, Color Matching, and Microbiological analysis) to maintain versatility.
  • Audits & Improvements: Conduct internal audits (product, microbiology) and support customer or third-party audits.
  • Process Support: Assist with corrective action programs and contribute to new product development.

 

  • Bachelor's or equivalent experience in a Science related Degree (Chemistry, Microbiology, or Food Science)
  • Ideally a minimum of 5 years of Quality Control experience in a commercial or manufacturing environment.
