Alfred H Knight has an exciting opportunity through its Indonesia entity, PT AHK Testing Indonesia, who is looking for a Procurement and Facilities Supervisor to join our team. PT AHK Testing Indonesia provides independent analysis and inspection services to the metals, minerals and solid fuels industries. We have a well-earned reputation for our knowledge and professionalism in all aspects of weighing, sampling and analysis.

The Procurement and Facilities Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the procurement of goods and services necessary for the company’s operations, specifically focusing on laboratory consumables, field equipment, and third-party services. This role ensures that all purchasing activities are conducted with transparency, cost-effectiveness, and in strict adherence to company policy and quality standards. Furthermore, the position is responsible for overseeing the operational management and maintenance of company facilities, ensuring a safe, efficient, and fully functional workplace environment for all staff and operations.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

To be successful at Alfred H Knight you will need to display the following:

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND WORK EXPERIENCE 

Essential 

• Advanced negotiation and contract management skills.
• In-depth knowledge of supply chain management and local Indonesian import/export regulations for laboratory equipment.
• Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Sheets for data analysis and reporting.
• Capability to forecast supply needs based on operational trends.
• Ability to take decisive action in resolving supply chain disruptions or vendor disputes.
  

Required Work Experience

• Minimum 3–7 years of experience in procurement or purchasing.
• At least 1-2 years of experience in a supervisory capacity.
• Experience in the testing, inspection, or mining services industry is highly preferred.
• Experience working in a global/international company is desirable.

Required Qualifications

• Minimum Bachelor’s Degree (S1) in Business Administration, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related field.
• Willingness to travel domestically to branch offices and sites as required.
