We’ve been roasting speciality coffee for over 30 years. From humble beginnings as a little coffee cart in Auckland, New Zealand, Allpress has evolved into a sophisticated brand that stands for flavour and service.  Right from the start three core principles have formed the backbone of our business – People, Flavour and Innovation.

We are united in our genuine care for each other, our customers, and our belief in what we do. We need great people who will bring their imagination, skills and most importantly, their passion to our business.

About the role.

We’re looking for a supportive, people-focused Assistant Manager to help drive the growth of our new cafe in Farringdon.

In this role, your purpose is to work closely with the General Manager - supporting them day to day and helping translate the cafe’s vision and growth goals into reality. You’ll play a key part in ensuring the team feels confident, supported and set up to succeed.

A key part of your role will be ensuring that the coffee program set by our Head of Coffee is fully understood, adhered to and consistently implemented in daily service. You’ll support the team in maintaining excellence in coffee preparation, workflow and quality control. You will also bring dependable operational experience, helping to deliver a smooth launch, maintain effective systems and uphold high standards across service, quality and team wellbeing.

You lead with care, curiosity and adaptability, approaching challenges with a willingness to learn and find solutions that keep the cafe moving forward.

If you’re energised by developing people, supporting a strong leader and helping shape a culture where both the team and the business can grow, we’d love to hear from you. This role would be perfect for a Head Barista ready to take the next step.
