Chief Accountant

ACG_3482_JOB Our client is a leading corporation in the real estate industry seeking an experienced professional to join their team as Chief Accountant. Finance & Accounting Leadership Lead and oversee all accounting and financial operations, ensuring full compliance with applicable regulations and internal policies. Establish and maintain accounting systems, financial records, and reporting frameworks. Supervise the accurate recording of revenues, expenses, and business performance. Prepare and present periodic financial statements in accordance with statutory requirements. Manage tax compliance, including declarations, filings, and finalizations. Cash Flow & Payment Management Monitor and control company cash flow, collections, and payments. Review and approve payment documentation within assigned authority. Coordinate with relevant departments to manage project-related payments, settlements, and cost tracking. Oversee receivables and payables with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers. Budgeting & Cost Control Participate in financial planning and annual budgeting processes. Control operational and project-related costs to ensure efficiency. Conduct financial analysis and recommend solutions to optimize financial performance and resource utilization. Administrative Oversight Supervise administrative and office operations to ensure smooth business activities. Manage company documentation, records, and administrative procedures. Oversee company assets, equipment, and facilities. Support administrative functions related to business operations and project execution. Compliance & External Liaison Act as the key contact point with tax authorities, auditors, and relevant regulatory bodies. Ensure all financial and accounting activities comply with legal requirements and internal governance. Reporting & Advisory Provide regular reports on financial status, cash flow, and business performance to senior management. Advise leadership on financial management strategies, cost control, and effective use of financial resources. Requirements Bachelor’s degree or above in Accounting, Finance, or related fields. Mandatory Chief Accountant certification; CPA or international certifications are highly preferred. Minimum 8–10 years of accounting experience, including at least 3–5 years in a Chief Accountant or equivalent leadership role. Prior experience in construction, EPC, or project-based environments is highly desirable. Strong understanding of revenue and cost recognition for long-term projects. In-depth knowledge of accounting, taxation, and corporate regulations. Proficiency in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel. Strong analytical, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
