## In one sentence
The Regional Tax Expert supports tax compliance, provisioning and process improvement across EMEA, partnering with internal and external stakeholders in a complex, fast-paced multinational environment.
## What will your job look like?
* Reporting to the EMEA Tax Manager, you will support the EMEA tax agenda across tax compliance, provisioning, governance and improvement initiatives.
* Support and execute tax compliance across EMEA, covering corporate income tax, VAT/indirect taxes and transfer pricing, ensuring accuracy, completeness and timeliness across all entities in scope.
* Prepare and review tax provisioning and reporting deliverables, including quarterly and annual provisions, disclosures and sign-off support for statutory financial statements and US GAAP group reporting.
* Assist in the resolution of EMEA tax matters, including audit defence, interaction with tax authorities and issue escalation where required.
* Manage a varied workload, prioritising effectively across compliance, audits, projects and ad-hoc requests across multiple jurisdictions and deadlines.
* Contribute to process improvement initiatives, including standardisation, automation and AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency, quality, controls and insight across tax compliance and reporting.
* Support the management of relationships with external advisors, helping ensure quality, value for money and delivery against agreed scope and budgets.
* Stay informed of legislative and regulatory changes where relevant to your allocation, assess impacts and support the translation of these into actionable company responses.
## All you need is...
* 4–6 years' experience in corporate tax in a multinational environment and/or professional practice, with strong EMEA tax exposure.
* Solid experience in tax compliance, provisioning and/or audit support.
* Exceptionally organised, with the ability to manage broad, evolving workloads across multiple jurisdictions and deadlines.
* Familiarity with or enthusiasm for process improvement, technology, automation and AI-enabled solutions in finance or tax.
* AI-aware and AI-positive mindset, with the ability to identify responsible uses of AI to improve accuracy, efficiency and insight.
* Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with diverse internal and external stakeholders.
* Qualified tax or accounting professional (e.g. ACA, ACCA, ADIT).
* Experience in an international technology or similarly complex multinational environment is an advantage.
* Experience or expertise in indirect taxes (e.g. VAT, GST) would be considered a bonus.
