Clinical Supervisor - AMIKids Behavioral Health
Quick Summary
The Clinical Supervisor role provides comprehensive oversight of mental health and substance abuse services and Team Members for AMIkids Behavioral Health; ensures services are delivered with integrity and in compliance with applicable local, state, and Federal regulatory requirements governing clinical services; oversee the execution of the AMIkids Personal Growth Model (PGM) within Behavioral Health; and perform tasks as the liaison between AMIkids Behavioral Health and applicable parties.
- Direct the coordination and implementation of mental health and substance abuse clinical services; oversee delivery of appropriate youth services provided by Team Members to achieve favorable therapeutic outcomes,
- Provide administrative review of bio-psychosocial assessments, treatment and aftercare planning, and individual/group/family therapy services,
- Review youth evaluations, assessments, and treatment plans to ensure services are individualized and meet the needs of each youth, as part of the Quality Assurance initiatives.
- Validate timely completion of documentation, data entry, and submission requirements; address areas that are not meeting required timelines.
- Provide on-site coverage and direct clinical services to youth as needed,
- Ensure site licensing, credentialing, and accreditation requirements are met,
- Conduct client file quality reviews to validate compliance with contract requirements (e.g., assessments, service and treatment plans, and referrals, etc.),
- Promote and confirm that the Personal Growth Model® is consistently implemented with integrity and fidelity; may participate in treatment review meetings or clinical case reviews,
- Participate in the development and then implement mental health and substance abuse treatment policies and procedures,
- Support execution of the strategic plan and goals related to Behavioral Health; plan and direct clinical operations in fulfilling the goals and objectives of Behavioral Health initiatives.
- Assist in recruiting, screening, and hiring clinical Team Members; supervise and evaluate the performance in a timely manner.
- Ensure appropriate certifications, licensing, and educational requirements are maintained and in compliance with all applicable regulatory standards; provide licensure oversight,
- Develop, schedule, train, and evaluate Team Members in the achievement of departmental objectives and long-term goals,
- Maintain current knowledge of industry, trends, and regulatory requirements; research and review Mental Health, Substance Abuse, Medical, and Community Mental Health Services manuals, journals, and publications,
- Attend all required training/professional development events and maintain all appropriate certifications and licenses in compliance with all applicable regulatory standards,
- Maintain open communication for effective working relationships with internal and external parties,
- Submit internal/external reports/documentation timely,
- Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned.
- Master’s degree in Psychology, Social Work, or related field,
- Licensed Mental Health Professionals - licensed under Chapter 458 or 459, F.S.,
- Possess or obtain a National Provider Identifier and be enrolled as a Medicaid provider,
- Qualified Supervisor with a State Credential Agency/Certification Board
- One-year supervisory experience preferred,
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Ability to travel,
