Job Summary
The Ontario Undergraduate Student Alliance (OUSA) General Assembly Delegate represents AMS students at OUSA’s General Assembly, contributing to the development of provincial post-secondary education policy and advocacy priorities. Delegates work as part of the AMS delegation to bring Queen’s student perspectives, experiences, and priorities into discussions with student representatives from OUSA member institutions across Ontario.

Job Duties
Communication Organization Ownership Attention to Detail Attend all training sessions to become familiar with OUSA and the General Assembly process. Be productive, efficient and attentive in completing steps assigned to delegates. Respect and adhere to all procedures as outlined in the OUSA procedures and policy manual. Follow all AMS policy as outlined in the Volunteer Policy and Procedures Manual Be contributive, prepared, and engaged with OUSA Breakout sessions, plenary, and training for OUSA General Assembly
Job Requirements
Ability to be accountable, set expectations and monitor progress of all different aspects of the assembly process to expectations. Sound analytical thinking, planning and prioritization skills
Time Commitment
Commitment is throughout October in delegate training sessions and attending the Winter OUSA General Assembly from November 5-8th. The General Assembly is held at Queen's University in Kingston, ON and you will be required to be present for the entire duration of the trip. Required to attend mandatory delegate training sessions in the beginning of October. 3 Training Sessions 1 Facilitated Feedback Session1 General Assembly Delegation Prep Session
