Experienced full‑stack developer skilled in modern frontend frameworks and cloud architectures. Responsible for designing, building, testing, and safely deploying customer‑facing and backend services using Next.js/React, Node, GraphQL, and AWS. Works from minimal specs in a fast‑paced environment, collaborates closely in code review, and leverages AI tools where appropriate to increase velocity and quality.

Core Responsibilities

  • Design and implement user‑facing features and backend services using Next.js, React, Node, and GraphQL.
  • Build scalable, secure systems on AWS (both serverless and non‑serverless patterns).
  • Model and implement data storage solutions using SQL and NoSQL databases.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well‑tested code; author unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests.
  • Ship changes safely to production via CI/CD pipelines (CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, etc.).
  • Participate actively in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions; mentor peers.
  • Troubleshoot production issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and implement durable fixes.
  • Use AI-assisted development tools judiciously to accelerate work while ensuring correctness and security.
  • Operate with an ownership mentality: estimate work, meet commitments, and communicate progress and risks.

Required Qualifications

  • 5+ years building production applications with Next.js, React, and Node (or comparable frameworks).
  • Practical experience with GraphQL (server and client integration).
  • Hands‑on experience deploying and operating services on AWS (serverless and traditional compute).
  • Strong SQL and NoSQL data modeling and query experience.
  • Demonstrated CI/CD experience (AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or similar).
  • Proven track record of shipping high‑quality, well‑tested code into production.
  • Comfortable working from minimal specs and iterating quickly in a fast‑paced environment.
  • Fluent English and strong collaboration, communication, and code‑review practices.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with observability tooling (CloudWatch, Datadog, New Relic, OpenTelemetry).
  • Familiarity with security best practices (authentication/authorization, secret management, OWASP).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration (Docker, ECS, EKS).
  • Familiarity with infrastructure as code (CloudFormation, Terraform, CDK).
  • Prior experience leveraging AI-assisted coding tools responsibly in production workflows.

Technical & Behavioral Competencies

  • High code quality discipline: testing, linting, type safety (TypeScript preferred).
  • Strong debugging and performance‑tuning skills.
  • Pragmatic problem solving and ability to prioritize under ambiguity.
  • Collaborative reviewer and constructive communicator.
  • Focus on reliability, security, and measurable outcomes.
