What you'll be doing:
- Preparing, assembling, testing, and labelling cable assemblies, subsea tails, and connectors.
- Learning how to operate specialist cable moulding machinery through structured onsite training.
- Maintaining cable and connector stock levels and ensuring materials are stored safely and correctly.
- Assisting with cable testing activities and the production of test reports.
- Helping keep the mould shop organised, clean, and operating efficiently.
- Following health, safety, quality, and environmental procedures at all times.
- Completing competency-based training to develop your technical knowledge and skills.
- Working as part of a supportive team to deliver high-quality products to customers
What experience you'll bring:
- Experience in soldering and cable assembly
- Some previous experience in an equivalent industry
- Fault finding and problem-solving ability
- Excellent communication, time management and organisation skills
- Additional experience experience in cable testing and cable moulding is desirable
