KEM Coater Operator | Second Shift| Erlanger, KY

The KEM Punch/Coater Operator is responsible for loading, unloading, testing, and operating the Spartanic Punch in the KEM department.

Responsibilities

→Operate, clean and troubleshoot KEM punch
→Conduct deck integrity inspections
→Loads KEM sheets in the punch
→Inspect sheets as they exit the machine for proper registration
→Operates the machine controls in accordance with operating instructions
→Immediately update maintenance and management of any machine or department abnormalities
→Keep work areas clean and orderly in accordance with 5S standards
→Complete production logs and performs system documentation
→Review with lead person work to be performed
→Comply with documentation such as the follower and schedule
→All duties assigned by KEM Lead and management

Requirements

Minimum 2 to 5 years of machine operation experience
Prior printing experience preferred
High School diploma or equivalent work experience
Good communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong Mechanical aptitude
High attention to detail and judgment based on written procedures and guidelines
Ability to quickly identify production problems and ability to identify quality problems
Ability to work well with others and cooperate with team members and leadership team
