The Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN)

• provides direct patient care to patients on the skilled nursing unit
• works under the direction of a registered nurse
• collects data, administers medications, documents and performs nursing procedures competently as ordered

• 17 bed short term Skilled Nursing Facility
• one of few remaining hospital based SNFs
• CMS 5-star overall rating
• above average RN/LPN/Nurse Aide hours per resident per day
• access to 24/7 emergency care on-site
• work to the top of your license (medication administration, physical assessments, wound care, IV line care)
• focus on rehabilitation and discharge to home

• Must be a Licensed Practical Nurse, eligible to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia
• Positive attitude, with enthusiasm for caring for our community
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Effective time management skills
• Must have valid driver's license
