Are you an A&P Mechanic ready for a new chapter in your aviation career?
The Aviation Institute of Maintenance (AIM)—the largest aviation maintenance training school in the U.S.—is seeking experienced Aircraft Maintenance Technicians (AMTs) and A&P Mechanics to join our team as instructors.
If you have hands-on experience in aircraft maintenance and enjoy mentoring others, this is your opportunity to step out of the hangar and into a role where you can shape the next generation of aviation professionals.
No prior teaching experience required. We provide a 5-week paid instructor training program to help you successfully transition into the classroom.
Why Consider Teaching?
Many skilled A&P mechanics and aviation technicians don’t initially consider teaching—but those who do often find it to be one of the most rewarding paths in their career.
At AIM, you’ll:
- Share your real-world aircraft maintenance experience with future technicians
- Enjoy more predictable schedules compared to field work
- Make a lasting impact on students entering the aviation industry
- Continue growing your own knowledge while developing others
