The Payroll Administrator plays a critical role in ensuring the seamless and compliant operation of our payroll function across the US and India. This position exists to deliver accurate, timely, and compliant payroll processing while supporting the needs of a rapidly scaling, multi-state, and global workforce. The role ensures all employees are paid correctly, statutory requirements are met, and payroll processes integrate smoothly with HR, Finance, and global operational teams. By providing expertise in US payroll, paid leave administration, and cross-region coordination, the Payroll Administrator helps maintain organizational trust, operational efficiency, and a positive employee experience.
This role is responsible for accurate, timely payroll processing and requires deep expertise in US payroll and ADP systems, along with the ability to manage complex paid leave programs. Experience with India payroll is a strong plus as we continue to scale our global operations.
  • Should be able to execute end-to-end US payroll processing using ADP, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and timely delivery.
  • Manage and administer complex US-based paid leave programs, including state-specific leaves, FMLA, and other statutory requirements.
  • Maintain payroll records, audit data, and resolve discrepancies promptly.
  • Partner with HR, Finance, and regional leaders to ensure alignment across payroll activities.
  • Support global payroll processes, including coordination with India payroll providers (preferred but not required).
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations.
  • Respond to employee payroll inquiries with professionalism and clarity.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably with a consulting firm.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency with Sage Intacct is highly preferred.
  • Proven experience running US payroll using ADP (mission-critical).
  • Strong knowledge of US paid leave programs and associated compliance requirements.
  • High attention to detail and ability to manage sensitive data with confidentiality.
  • Experience in a multi-state, rapidly scaling organisation preferred.
  • Should be able to work independently and support the team in India and the US
  • Must have experience in supporting or processing Indian payroll.
  • Prior experience in a global company with distributed teams (US/Canada/India).
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll integrations.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience, preferably with a consulting firm.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  • Proficiency with Sage Intacct is highly preferred.

  • Prior experience in a global company with distributed teams (US/Canada/India).
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and payroll integrations.
  • Qualified/Semi Qualified CA or CWA with 3 years of relevant experience
  • Graduate/Post Graduate with 5 years of relevant experience

    Office Hours:
  • The office hours may slightly differ from the usual Indian office hours (11 AM to 8 PM) to stay connected with and support the US team. The same will be finalised during the interview process.
