We’re looking for team members who have an understanding of large-scale funding with a small-scale customer service mentality. If you’re a nimble problem-solver, good with numbers, and an excellent communicator, you’ve come to the right spot.
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented intern to support our business development efforts. This role is ideal for someone interested in finance, sales, and relationship-building, with the ability to manage both outreach and internal coordination. You will play a key role in helping our leadership team build strategic partnerships by identifying and engaging “centers of influence” (COIs) and ensuring a steady pipeline of scheduled meetings.
Responsibilities
~1 min read- →Conduct outbound outreach to targeted centers of influence, including:
- →Tax strategists
- →Business brokers
- →Accountants
- →Capital connectors
- →Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs)
- →Clearly communicate Bevel’s value proposition and secure introductory meetings with senior leadership
- →Manage and coordinate leadership calendars to ensure consistent scheduling of qualified meetings
- →Track outreach activity, responses, and meeting outcomes in CRM or internal systems
- →Maintain organized records of contacts, follow-ups, and scheduling details
- →Collaborate with leadership to refine outreach messaging and targeting strategies
- Strong communication skills; comfortable initiating conversations with professionals via phone and email
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail and follow-through
- Self-motivated and able to handle rejection while maintaining a positive, professional demeanor
- Interest in finance, business development, or sales
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, including outreach and scheduling coordination
- Familiarity with CRM tools, calendar management, or willingness to learn
- Hands-on experience in financial services business development
- Direct exposure to senior leadership and strategic relationship-building
- Practical experience in sales outreach, pipeline development, and professional communication
- Insight into working with key financial intermediaries and referral networks
