Technician II (Diesel Mechanic)

Bryan / College Station, TX | Full-Time (2nd shift - Monday to Friday 12:00pm-9:00pm)

Bronwick is working with the client to hire a Technician II (Diesel Mechanic) in the Bryan / College Station area to support fleet maintenance and repair operations for Class 8 trucks and heavy equipment.

• →Perform preventive maintenance on Class 8 trucks and fleet equipment
• →Inspect vehicles and identify faults during inspections
• →Replace failed components such as - brakes, sensors, starters, alternators, hydraulic cylinders
• →Assist with repairs involving - turbos, EGR systems, air compressors, fuel systems differentials
• →Use diagnostic software and hydraulic gauges for troubleshooting
• →Maintain accurate repair orders and service documentation
• →Assist in training Technician I employees
• →Maintain a clean, safe work environment and follow all safety regulations

• 1+ year preventive maintenance experience on heavy trucks or diesel equipment OR technical training in diesel maintenance
• Mechanical aptitude and basic diagnostic ability
• Must provide your own tools
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced shop environment
• Basic computer skills for service documentation

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Class B CDL
• ASE certification, or ability to obtain
• Formal preventive maintenance training
• Safe driving for the last five years 

• Valid Class C driver's license
• Safe driving record for the past three years
• State Inspector License or ability to obtain within 90 days
