The Town of Brookline’s Department of Public Works is seeking a dependable and hardworking Pipe Layer to join our Water & Sewer Division. This hands-on role is essential to maintaining the Town’s water and sewer infrastructure and ensuring reliable service to our residents.

The Pipe Layer performs a variety of manual labor and maintenance tasks, including:

✓Assisting with excavating and backfilling utility trenches

✓Maintaining hydrant and water main valves

✓Cleaning and maintaining water storage facilities, reservoirs, and surrounding grounds

✓Performing seasonal work such as mowing, leaf raking, and snow removal

✓Responding to emergencies involving water or sewer systems

✓Installing, repairing, and maintaining water mains, service pipes, hydrants, and sewer/drain connections

✓Performs other duties as assigned
