As a Direct Care Supervisor, you will provide hands-on leadership and oversight of in-center and home care Personal Care Aides. You will ensure all Participant care activities are delivered accurately, efficiently, and in full compliance with care plans, audit standards, and regulatory requirements. This role requires strong analytical thinking, technical proficiency, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards for quality, safety, and performance.

You will oversee scheduling, documentation, competencies, and audits while serving as a key member of the Interdisciplinary Team. This position is ideal for a confident, results-driven leader who values structure, precision, and accountability in care delivery.

 

First shift, full-time hours. Specific work hours will be established in consultation with your supervisor.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate all in-center and home care Personal Care Aides.
  • Ensure PCA operations and environments meet audit and compliance standards, including completion of all required logs.
  • Attend and actively participate in all Interdisciplinary Team meetings.
  • Develop, manage, and maintain the master schedule for center and home care PCAs.
  • Ensure Participant care plan interventions are completed accurately and within scope of care.
  • Coordinate the delivery of supplies and durable medical equipment to meet Participant needs.
  • Order durable medical equipment and complete required authorizations.
  • Complete, review, and approve documentation and encounters in the EMR in a timely manner.
  • Conduct audits of PCA documentation, including home care documentation.
  • Complete initial and annual competencies for the Direct Care Aide Scheduler and all PCAs.
  • Review, verify, and approve electronic timesheets, payroll, mileage, and expense reimbursements.
  • Conduct initial, six-month, and significant change home assessments to evaluate Participant safety, resources, functionality, and living environment.
  • Assist in developing and updating plans of care in collaboration with other disciplines and the Participant and family.
  • Conduct monthly supervisory visits with PCAs.
  • Participate in ongoing quality initiatives and required training.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

  • 8+ direct reports depending on census

  • Bachelor's degree
  • One year working with the frail/elderly population
  • 5+ years' experience in: Supervision, scheduling, Pacelogic, and Prime Suite
  • Microsoft Office (intermediate to advanced)
  • Valid driver’s license
  • CPR and first aid certification

 

Requirements

  • Must be able to move intermittently throughout the workday.
  • Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 25 pounds.
  • Must be able to assist with the evacuation of Participants.
