Our client is a leading global construction company involved in a wide range of projects, including infrastructure, marine works, environmental initiatives, buildings, and civil engineering works. They handle complex challenges and provide services to clients all over the world with a skilled and diverse team.
  • Represent the QHSE department as the primary contact for specific HSE-related competencies;
  • Conduct internal HSE inspections and audits according to the internal MS audit and inspection planning;
  • Provide training on topics related to specific HSE competencies;
  • Take accountability for and participate in specific HSE improvement actions aligned with the annual HSE action plan;
  • Assist the site in implementing and applying the company's QHSE policy and HSE-related IM procedures;
  • Report KPI to the regional HSE manager and/or QHSE business and site support managers;
  • Build positive working relationships with the site manager, construction manager, and operational leaders;
  • Responsible for administrative oversight of the HSE Management System in the region;
  • Facilitate the implementation of Corporate HSE programs;
  • Monitor and support operational HSE activities.
  • Must be an HSE level 2 or 1; 
  • With a minimum of 5 years of relevant HSE experience, preferably in the construction industry;
  • With an entrepreneurial mindset and a strong drive for achieving results;
  • Excellent communicator, analytical thinker, results-oriented, and customer-oriented.
  • Willing to work on various projects in Flanders;
  • Dutch, required
