This position follows a hybrid work schedule with a minimum of 2 days onsite, though this requirement may vary based on business and operational needs.   Primary Focus We are seeking to fill a current opening on our Appropriate Use team. The Research Exchange Specialist will contribute to the advancement of the strategic direction of CDA-AMC by coordinating the development and implementation of innovative, timely, and responsive strategies to raise awareness of various program areas. The incumbent will clearly communicate to key audiences on the advancements of an assigned program area and ensure that the assigned program area’s communication and engagement initiatives are in alignment with the CDA-AMC strategic plan.      CDA-AMC currently has Research Exchange Specialists for the following program areas: Evidence, Products, and Services: Post-Market Drug Evaluation (PMDE) Evidence, Products, and Services: Appropriate Use (AU) Strategic Relationships and Initiatives: Data and Analytics   What do the daily responsibilities look like? On any given day, the Research Exchange Specialist will: lead targeted knowledge mobilization strategies on analytical projects oversee the assigned communications portfolio, which includes identifying, implementing, and maintaining communication avenues to exchange information with partners codesign and develop visually engaging and informative content (e.g., presentations, infographics, placemats, dashboards) that distill complex information with the key audience in mind support the planning and execution of virtual and in-person events, including external meetings identify, network, and establish relationships with key external groups to identify and create synergies and opportunities to highlight CDA-AMC work and its deliverables lead the development of long-term strategies (e.g., engagement, communication, knowledge mobilization, and implementation) and operational plans for the identification, development, coordination, delivery, and evaluation of program area activities and efforts develop and contribute to evaluation and performance‑measurement processes that assess program impact and clearly communicate key findings to relevant audiences analyze feedback and make recommendations for further enhancements and improvements in assigned activities and priorities record and report on the impact of program activities and analyses for various internal and external audiences.   Is this the right role for you? The Research Exchange Specialist will likely have: an undergraduate degree in health science or a related area of study coupled with no less than 4 years of experience performing work of a similar nature; additional related experience may serve as a suitable equivalent for completion of postsecondary education health care experience in the application of knowledge transfer principles advanced experience with Adobe InDesign and MS PowerPoint research and communications expertise, both professional and plain language, to allow for effective information exchange and networking to support the dissemination of information knowledge of the Canada’s health care systems with an understanding of the decision-making processes of CDA-AMC customers and other users of CDA-AMC reports the ability to establish effective working relationships with various groups, committees, and partners (internally and externally) demonstrated ability to synthesize information to create compelling communication for specific groups as well as general audiences ability to identify opportunities for increased process effectiveness and efficiency excellent time management skills with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple responsibilities and timelines on a variety of projects and initiatives ability to work independently as well as within a team environment superior organization and project management skills.   What will set you apart?
