Research potential suppliers and evaluate their capabilities. Contribute to negotiations with suppliers for favorable terms. Support day-to-day procurement activities. Assist in the preparation of purchase orders. Collaborate with other departments to understand their procurement needs. Collect and analyze data related to procurement activities. Assist in preparing reports on procurement performance. Identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements. Support in maintaining relationships with vendors. Assist in monitoring vendor performance and compliance. Address and escalate issues with vendors as needed. Assist in the management of contracts throughout their lifecycle. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Basic understanding of procurement processes and principles. Awareness of supply chain management concepts. Familiarity with basic procurement terminology.
