Certified Medical Assistant / CMA Urgent Care

• →Perform administrative and certain clinical duties under the direction of a physician.
• →Administrative duties may include scheduling appointments, maintaining medical records, billing, and coding information for insurance purposes.
• →Clinical duties may include rooming patients, taking and recording vital signs and medical histories, preparing patients for examination, drawing blood, and administering medications as directed by physician.

Job Requirements:

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

Preferred Job Requirements:

• Current licensure as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant or Registered Medical Assistant.
• 6 months of medical clinic experience.
• BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
