Responsibilities

  • As required and under supervision, execute bench samples, pilots, process scale-up verifications by recording results in laboratory notebook, protocol, and/or batch records.

  • Procure raw materials from suppliers and production warehouse. Maintain raw material documentation.

  • Maintain laboratory workspace and equipment in a clean and orderly state. Ensure all raw materials and laboratory supplies are properly tracked and in inventory.

  • Perform basic chemical, physical and product performance tests on raw materials and finished products. Record and publish results.

  • Enter sample information into logs, coordinate sample registrations and collect data from QC as needed.

  • Work with maintenance department/equipment suppliers to ensure the completion of preventative maintenance, calibration, repairs of lab equipment.

  • Support documentation activities; create Agile change requests for new Item Master entries (i.e. Raw material, Formula and Premix numbers) in Oracle. Generate simple changes to packaging master batch records in the Electronic Batch Record (EBR) system.

  • Additional duties as assigned.
