Divisional Safety Coordinator responsible for all aspects of division safety performance, reporting, and adherence.

Responsibilities

→Lead and support TCOS initiatives within the division
→Ensure safety compliance with federal, state and local regulations
→Perform corporate, OSHA, health, and safety recordkeeping and reporting
→Coordinate, conduct, and track safety trainings
→Participate in new-hire orientation and training
→Prepare and distribute safety alerts
→Perform safety audits and communicate results
→Conduct reviews and support implementation of the Safety Calendar, SDI policies, and programs
→Develop JSA, LOTOTO, SOP, and risk assessments
→Investigate, review, and follow up on incidents

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in safety or a safety-related field and/or 2-yrs or more experience in a safety function
Excellent computer skills preferably in Word, Excel, Power Point & Outlook
Ability to skillfully organize, prioritize and manage multiple projects
Highly effective communication skills
Travel requirements – intercompany, education, & benchmarking
First Aid/CPR/AED/Fall Protection Competent Person Certified
