Responsibilities

→Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and procedures
→Provide compassionate nursing care and support for patients
→Confidently restrain patients for exams and procedures
→Administer medications and vaccines orally, topically, and subcutaneously
→Perform laboratory testing on blood and urine samples
→Obtain diagnostic radiographs using proper positioning techniques
→Maintain accurate digital medical records
→Educate clients on medications, preventative care, and treatment plans
→Support surgical, dental, and emergency procedures while maintaining excellent patient care standards

Experience as a Veterinary Assistant or Licensed Veterinary Technician
Strong patient handling and technical skills
Knowledge of commonly used medications and preventatives
Ability to work efficiently both independently and as part of a team
Strong communication and client service abilities
Positive attitude, reliability, and attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for extended periods
Passion for veterinary medicine and exceptional patient care
Fear Free certification and Avimark experience are a plus, but not required
