Responsibilities

→Assist veterinarians during exams, treatments, and surgical procedures
→Anesthetize, monitor, maintain, and recover surgical patients perioperatively
→Obtain patient histories, vitals, temperatures, and diagnostic samples
→Perform venipuncture, IV catheter placement, laboratory work, and radiology
→Prepare medications, vaccines, and preventative care treatments
→Safely restrain patients while minimizing stress and promoting safety
→Clean and prepare exam rooms following OSHA guidelines
→Maintain accurate patient records and support efficient hospital workflow

High school diploma or equivalent required
Previous Veterinary Technician experience required
Strong surgical and anesthesia monitoring skills
Experience with venipuncture, IV catheter placement, radiology, laboratory work, and pharmacology preferred
Excellent communication and client service skills
Positive attitude and collaborative mindset
Compassion for patients, clients, and coworkers
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced veterinary environment
