Job Summary:

The Operations Associate works on assigned projects with limited or no supervision while performing general manual labor tasks/housekeeping of production areas, various entry-level production positions, operation of material handling equipment and mobile equipment ensuring the work is effective and performed in accordance with all relevant codes and safety standards.

 

Responsibilities & Duties:

  • General labor and clean-up of production areas

  • Observe, monitor and report any conditions which could lead to product nonconformity.

  • Operate heavy equipment/machinery in a safe and appropriate manner.

  • Clean, inspect, and maintain/secure all equipment in compliance with MSHA, policies, and procedures.

  • Replace or assist other workers as needed or directed.

  • Other duties as assigned by management.

Job Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • Be willing and able to work overtime and rotating shifts.

  • Communicate effectively in both verbal and written form; perform basic math functions.

  • Basic computer skills

  • Perform physical labor safely in noisy, dusty, and other harsh working conditions.
