Cedar Park Med is seeking an experienced Pediatric Dentist to provide high-quality dental care to children in clinical and community-based settings in the Albuquerque area. This role is a strong fit for providers who are confident clinically and skilled at creating a calm, child-friendly experience.
Requirements

Current BLS certification
Experience treating pediatric patients, including behavior/anxiety management
Strong interpersonal skills, empathy, and professionalism
Responsibilities

Provide pediatric dental services in clinic and community locations (homes, schools, clinics, job sites, outreach sites, and other community locations)

Perform diagnostic services using history, radiographs, clinical examinations, diagnostic models, and other appropriate tests
- →
Deliver preventative care including fluoridation, silver diamine fluoride, sealants, and space maintenance
- →
Provide restorative care (routine and complex), including use of local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as appropriate
- →
Use effective pediatric behavior management techniques and child-friendly approaches to reduce anxiety and fear
- →
Respond to emergency dental needs including trauma, pain, and infection
- →
Perform extractions and pulpal therapy (pulpotomies and pulpectomies)
- →
Educate children and parents/guardians on oral hygiene practices and dietary habits
- →
Follow the statement of work and accept work assignments from the Clinical Director as needed

Obtain consultative services in other specialty areas when cases require a team approach
