We manage and partner on key Citi initiatives and deliverables, such as our quarterly earnings process and ensuring Citi’s compliance with financial rules and regulations. The team comprises chief financial officers who partner with each of our businesses and disciplines including controllers, financial planning and analysis, strategy, investor relations, tax and treasury. We’re currently looking for a high caliber professional to join our team as Financial Solutions Sr. Analyst, Assistant Vice President based in Taguig, BGC, Metro Manila. The Fin Solutions Sr. Analyst is a seasoned professional role. Applies in-depth disciplinary knowledge, contributing to the development of new techniques and the improvement of processes and work-flow for the area or function. Integrates subject matter and industry expertise within a defined area. Requires in-depth understanding of how areas collectively integrate within the sub-function as well as coordinate and contribute to the objectives of the function and overall business. Evaluates moderately complex and variable issues with substantial potential impact, where development of an approach/taking of an action involves weighing various alternatives and balancing potentially conflicting situations using multiple sources of information. Requires good analytical skills in order to filter, prioritize and validate potentially complex and dynamic material from multiple sources. Strong communication and diplomacy skills are required. Regularly assumes informal/formal leadership role within teams. Involved in coaching and training of new recruits Significant impact in terms of project size, geography, etc. by influencing decisions through advice, counsel and/or facilitating services to others in area of specialization. Work and performance of all teams in the area are directly affected by the performance of the individual. Responsibilities: * Assists in setting business and information architecture standards for Finance * Plays a part in settling and operating necessary forums and frameworks to establish and govern policies and starts for global Finance processes * Manages one or more processes, reports, procedures or products, and considered analytical or procedural "expert" representing a unit or team on cross-function process or project deliverables. * Has the ability to operate with a limited level of direct supervision. * Can exercise independence of judgement and autonomy. * Acts as SME to senior stakeholders and /or other team members. * Combination of executing existing forecast processes as well as working with business and technology partners to identify and develop enhancements, improvements, and new functionality. * This work will involve defining information and refining process requirements in partnership with Global Process Owners, Operations, and Technology. The job will entail supporting an active forecasting engine, and at times require balancing conflicting partner and platform priorities. Qualifications: * 5+ years of relevant experience, within the financial services industry preferred * Experience with analyzing Actual and Forecast results, in particular Balance Sheet and Treasury * Seasoned experience working with large data sets * Proficiency with standard analysis tools (Excel / Access / SQL) * Strong communication and analytical skills, including strong ability to identify and solve ambiguous problems. * Strong relationship-building skills with a keen ability to provide direct guidance and technology consulting * Experience in data analysis with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills * Proven interpersonal, data analysis, diplomatic, management and prioritization skills Education: * Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience Working at Citi is far more than just a job.
