Who you are:
The Manager, Lifecycle Sales is responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing CIEE's alumni-to-college lifecycle strategy. This role owns the lifecycle systems, processes, communications, and engagement initiatives that maintain relationships with CIEE high school applicants and alumni through to college, and then ultimately convert those students into CIEE College Study Abroad participants.
You are a strategic relationship builder and project manager who combines data-driven decision making with customer engagement expertise. You are energized by creating long-term customer journeys, implementing CRM-driven campaigns, establishing new event and recruitment opportunities, measuring results, and collaborating across teams to achieve ambitious enrollment and revenue goals.
Working closely with Institutional Relations, Marketing, High School, Enrollment, and Operations teams, you will oversee lifecycle communications, reporting, and alumni engagement strategy designed to increase conversion from high school alumni to college study abroad participants.
What you’ll do:
- Lifecycle Strategy & Program Management
- Lead implementation and ongoing optimization of the lifecycle strategy.
- Project manage the end-to-end alumni engagement calendar from program completion through college enrollment and study abroad participation.
- Develop, execute, and continuously improve lifecycle campaigns that increase alumni engagement and future enrollment.
- Pilot, test, and scale new outreach strategies, communications, events, and engagement models.
- Sales & Enrollment Growth
- Own key conversion metrics associated with applicant and alumni progression from high school study abroad participation to College Study Abroad enrollment.
- Identify and execute opportunities to increase alumni awareness, engagement, and enrollment in CIEE college programs.
- Monitor and report on lifecycle conversion performance, enrollment pipeline health, and ROI
- Recommend and implement improvements to increase alumni participation and conversion rates.
- CRM, Data & Systems Management
- Manage lifecycle-related CRM workflows, automations, segmentation strategies, and engagement tracking.
- Partner with marketing to implement and optimize lifecycle communications.
- Partner with Operations to develop reporting dashboards that measure engagement, data collection, conversion, and enrollment outcomes.
- Lead efforts to improve data collection and reporting rates among alumni.
- Analyze campaign performance and customer behavior to drive continuous improvement.
- Alumni Engagement & Ambassador Programs
- Develop and manage alumni engagement initiatives that maintain meaningful relationships with participants throughout high school and college.
- Support the recruitment, onboarding, training, and management of alumni and campus ambassador programs aligned with lifecycle objectives.
- Coordinate alumni storytelling, peer-to-peer engagement, and referral initiatives.
- Build engagement opportunities that strengthen affinity with CIEE and encourage future participation.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Coordinate across Institutional Relations, Marketing, Enrollment, Operations, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment of strategy, communications, systems, and goals.
- Identify operational challenges and recommend scalable solutions to improve customer experience and business outcomes.
- Present results, insights, and recommendations to internal leadership and stakeholders.
What you’ll bring:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Bachelor's degree or international equivalent required.
- 2-3 years of experience in lifecycle marketing, enrollment management, sales operations, CRM management, alumni relations, customer success, marketing automation, admissions, or a related field.
- Experience managing complex projects with multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, manage performance metrics, and drive measurable results.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent project management, organizational, and problem-solving abilities.
- Familiarity with study abroad, higher education, enrollment management, or alumni engagement is preferred.
