Electrical Maintenance Technician (2 Positions)

CNS Group is seeking a skilled Electrical Maintenance Technician for a mining project in Madagascar. The role is responsible for performing preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems, plant equipment, and industrial machinery to ensure safe and efficient mining and processing operations. The ideal candidate should possess strong troubleshooting skills, industrial electrical maintenance experience, and the ability to work in demanding mining environments.

• →Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on electrical systems and equipment.
• →Troubleshoot and repair electrical faults within plant and mining operations.
• →Inspect electrical components, motors, control panels, and power distribution systems.
• →Ensure electrical equipment operates safely and efficiently.
• →Support installation and commissioning of electrical equipment when required.
• →Monitor equipment performance and report operational issues.
• →Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and operational procedures.
• →Maintain maintenance records and technical documentation.
• →Coordinate with operations and maintenance teams during shutdowns and repairs.
• →Maintain cleanliness and organization within maintenance work areas.

• Diploma, Certificate, or technical qualification in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Maintenance, or related field.
• Minimum 5+ years of experience in industrial or mining electrical maintenance.
• Experience working with industrial electrical systems, motors, control panels, and plant equipment.
• Strong troubleshooting and fault diagnosis skills.
• Mining experience is preferred, but related industrial experience may be considered.
• Strong understanding of workplace electrical safety standards.
• Ability to work in remote and demanding operational environments.
• Good teamwork and communication skills.
• French or English communication is required.
• Willingness to relocate and work in Madagascar.
