Job Title: Senior Renewable Energy Expert About the Role: Copper Quail Global is seeking a highly skilled Senior Renewable Energy Expert to join our client's team in Saudi Arabia. This position requires a seasoned professional with extensive experience in renewable energy project planning and execution. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting comprehensive assessments and preparing detailed reports to support the development of solar and wind energy projects. Key Responsibilities: Conduct desktop constraints mapping to evaluate potential project sites. Perform detailed solar and wind resource assessments. Review and select appropriate technology and power system parameters to maximize efficiency. Analyze interconnection options to determine optimal locations for park substations. Prepare preliminary CAPEX and OPEX cost estimates with an accuracy of +/-10%. Conduct Energy Yield Assessments (P50, P75, P90) to predict project performance. Optimize the electrical power system based on thorough CAPEX and OPEX analysis. Develop and maintain site plans, drawings related to electric equipment, and original AutoCAD plans. Prepare a Basis Summary Report detailing climatic and environmental conditions, infrastructure, technology selection, electrical design, and potential wind turbine dimensions. Requirements: Minimum of 15 years of experience in the renewable energy sector, with a focus on solar and wind energy projects. Proven track record of preparing detailed technical assessments and reports. Strong ability to work with AutoCAD and other relevant design software. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is a plus. Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Science, or a related field. Advanced degrees (PhD, M.Eng., MBA) are highly desirable. Personal Attributes: Detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
