Responsibilities

- →Case Management: Oversee and maintain the progression of personal injury case files to ensure timely and accurate handling. Use Filevine (or similar case management system) to track and manage case activity.
- →Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring calls are returned promptly and clients are proactively updated at least every 30 days.
- →Deadline Management: Track and manage all deadlines with zero-error expectation, ensuring no statutes or critical deadlines are ever missed.
- →Document Handling: Accurately file necessary legal documents and manage firm correspondence efficiently.
- →Financial Support: Process disbursements, manage checks, and ensure accurate balancing of client trust accounts so all parties are properly paid.
- →Intake Support: Assist with client intake during peak times to maintain a seamless client onboarding experience.
- Legal Experience: Prior experience as a legal secretary, paralegal, or in a similar role is essential.
- Bilingual Skills: Bilingual (Spanish/English) is required and a critical component of success in this role.
- Organizational Skills: Exceptional capability to manage multiple cases and maintain detailed records without errors.
- Client Focus: Strong client service orientation with compassion for clients experiencing difficult legal situations.
- Tech Proficiency: Openness to learning and using legal tech and AI-based tools for task management.
- Team Collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with attorneys and staff, ensuring harmonized operations.
