Senior Civil Engineer

The Senior Civil Engineer leads the review and technical audit of all civil, geotechnical, and structural engineering works for the solar PV and BESS program, ensuring EPC contractor designs comply with specifications, geotechnical recommendations, structural standards, and local codes.

• →Review and audit EPC contractor civil designs including earthworks, foundations, cable routes, access roads, drainage systems, and site infrastructure.
• →Review geotechnical investigation reports and evaluate foundation design approaches for pile and shallow foundation systems.
• →Conduct structural review of mounting structure foundations, substation buildings, control rooms, and security fencing.
• →Review civil works specifications, material schedules, and construction method statements.
• →Prepare formal engineering review comments and technical reports for the civil discipline.
• →Provide technical guidance to the onsite Civil QA/QC Inspector on complex civil inspection matters.
• →Assess EPC contractor technical deviations and substitution requests for civil materials and methods.
• →Coordinate with the Architecture Engineer on civil-architectural interface requirements.
• →Review as-built civil drawings and confirm conformance with approved designs.
• →Support the Engineering Manager in civil-related contractual technical responses.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering; Master's degree advantageous.
• Minimum 12 years of civil engineering experience; experience on solar PV project civil works is preferred.
• Strong knowledge of geotechnical engineering, foundation design, and structural analysis.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, or STAAD/SAP2000 is advantageous.
• Familiarity with IEC, BS, or Eurocode standards applicable to civil structures.
• Excellent technical report writing skills.
