As a Warehouse Associate, you will be responsible for performing a range of warehouse tasks including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, and maintaining assigned areas.
- Picking, packing, weighing and dispatching customer orders using manual and RF systems
- Receiving stock, including supplier deliveries, customer and branch returns
- Loading and unloading trucks, pallets and materials safely
- Preparing packing lists, delivery documentation and bills of lading
- Processing inbound receipts and updating system records accurately
- Conducting quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods
- Managing stock placement, put-away and bin location maintenance
- Identifying and reporting stock discrepancies, damages or non-compliant goods
- Assisting with returns processing and ensuring policy compliance
- Performing cycle counts and inventory checks
- Maintaining warehouse cleanliness, safety and organisation
- Supporting product slotting, bin re-profiling and stock consolidation
- Operating within productivity standards and following all safety procedures
- Performing basic equipment checks and supporting preventative maintenance
- Assisting with counter sales and customer order enquiries where required
- Supporting general warehouse operations as directed by the supervisor
- At least 1 year of warehouse operations experience (preferred)
- Basic computer skills (preferred)
- Basic hand and power tool skills (preferred)
- Strong teamwork and ability to collaborate effectively with others
- Good problem-solving skills and ability to identify and resolve issues
- Clear communication skills, both verbal and written
- High attention to detail and accuracy in stock handling and documentation
