About the Role
~1 min readNational Parks and Wildlife Service has a unique opportunity for an Assistant Branch Coordinator to support the effective coordination of financial, administrative and operational services across the North Coast Branch as a key coordination role within the Branch Support team.
In this role, you will contribute to the smooth running of day-to-day operations by delivering high-quality reporting, analysis and administrative support. You will play a key role in supporting financial reporting, budget development and monitoring, coordinating operational planning activities including learning and development priorities and ensuring accurate reporting against key performance indicators. Working closely with internal stakeholders, you will help drive consistency and continuous improvement in systems, processes and communications, while contributing to a collaborative and high-performing team environment.
You will bring proven experience delivering administrative and financial support services, with strong capability in data analysis, reporting and maintaining effective systems and processes. Your ability to interpret and apply policies, procedures and relevant legislation will support sound decision-making and ensure compliance with financial and operational requirements. You are comfortable working across multiple priorities and can provide insightful advice to support business planning, budgeting, staff competency coordination and performance outcomes. Your attention to detail and ability to adapt to new situation whilst managing competing priorities and deadlines will ensure your success.
Equally important are your interpersonal and communication skills. You are a collaborative team player who builds strong relationships with stakeholders and contributes to a positive team culture, as well as assisting with developing team capability and identifying appropriate learning opportunities for other team members. You demonstrate sound judgement, discretion and integrity in your work, and have a proactive mindset that enables you to identify issues, solve problems and continuously improve processes. With strong organisational skills and attention to detail, you thrive in a dynamic environment and are committed to delivering high-quality outcomes for the Branch and the broader organisation.
