- 4-year Temporary fulltime role at 35 hours per week plus FlexTime
- Armidale, Newcastle or Sydney location & Hybrid working from home and office supported - flexible for the right person
- Salary range from $149,739 to $173,174 plus super and leave loading
EnergyCo NSW is spearheading the transition to renewable energy to deliver clean electricity to the people of NSW as coal-fired power stations near closure.
About the Opportunity
Our EnergyCo NSW Project Delivery team is seeking to appoint a Manager REZ Coordination to lead coordination across enabling infrastructure, project delivery of large-scale renewable energy infrastructure, within the New England Renewable Energy Zone (REZ). In this role, you will drive the integration of cumulative impact planning across a complex portfolio, ensuring environmental, social and economic considerations are proactively managed. Working at the intersection of government, industry and community you will coordinate key interfaces, influence state-wide frameworks and support consistent, transparent and sustainable outcomes that enable the transition to clean energy.
This role requires a coordination and delivery mindset aligned to major government-led, multi-billion-dollar infrastructure programs, with a strong sense of ownership, pace and accountability. This is a dynamic role requiring adaptability and sound judgement as priorities evolve, along with a willingness to be on the ground to directly engage regional stakeholders and support project outcomes.
In addition to the above-mentioned locations, candidates based in Tamworth or within the New England REZ boundaries are also strongly encouraged to apply.
About You
You are a senior professional with extensive experience managing stakeholder interfaces and engagement for major infrastructure, energy or government projects. You have delivered complex programs aligned to strategic objectives and bring valuable exposure to large-scale infrastructure environments such as energy, transport or water. Your ability to navigate sensitive issues, interpret policy frameworks and build trusted relationships enables you to deliver integrated, outcomes-focused solutions across multiple stakeholders and partners.
You are a flexible and resilient leader who thrives in fast-paced, evolving environments. Comfortable with ambiguity and shifting priorities, you can pivot quickly, think creatively and maintain momentum. With a proactive, hands-on approach and the confidence to take initiative, you are ready to step in, add value from day one and help drive successful delivery in a complex, matrix environment.
Requirements
~1 min read- Tertiary qualifications in environmental management, communications, strategic planning, project management, or related discipline and/or equivalent relevant experience.
- Capacity and willingness to travel to regional locations, and to work outside of core business hours where required
