• Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $102,936 to $113,579.00 + super

Our Natural Resources Access Regulator team is currently seeking to appoint multiple Outreach Officers.

We’re seeking motivated and purpose-driven professionals to join our team in field-based roles, working directly with communities and stakeholders across New South Wales.

This is a dynamic, hands-on position focused on inspiring behaviour change and supporting environmental outcomes across diverse regional and rural landscapes. You’ll spend significant time in the field, building relationships and making a tangible impact where it matters most.

You may come from a regulatory background, have served with the military or police force or have practical on-farm experience—either way, you bring valuable insight and credibility in working with landholders and stakeholders.

• Experience working in field-based, compliance, regulatory, environmental, land management, agricultural or community engagement roles
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• A high level of emotional intelligence, with the ability to navigate complex conversations
• Strong organisation and time management skills
• A self-motivated, proactive approach to work
• A great work ethic, grounded in integrity and accountability
• Commitment to workplace health and safety and safe fieldwork practices.
• Proficiency in using technology and information systems to record, manage and report data

• Appointment is subject to the satisfactory participation in mandatory pre-employment probity screening
• Commitment and willingness to undertake high levels of travel to remote areas and safely undertake field work requirements of the role.
• Current NSW Driver Licence
