- Office location upon negotiation across NSW, hybrid working supported
- Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $113,574 to $125,720 + super
As a Safety Support Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in delivering and enhancing safety across the Infrastructure Development & Delivery (IDD) function within the Water Group. You’ll help drive the implementation of WHS programs, systems, and initiatives that protect our people and ensure compliance across a diverse portfolio of projects.
From analysing safety data and coordinating reporting, to supporting risk management and training initiatives, this is a varied, hands-on role where your work will genuinely make a difference.
Key duties will include:
- Supporting the development and continuous improvement of the Safety Management System
- Coordinating WHS reporting, dashboards and data insights to inform decisions
- Assisting teams with risk management, compliance monitoring and corrective actions
- Driving safety initiatives and contributing to training programs
- Managing remote worker systems (inReach/Breon) and ensuring safe field operations
- Supporting incident reporting and investigation processes (CAMMS)
You’re a proactive and detail-oriented safety professional who enjoys working collaboratively and influencing positive safety outcomes.
You’ll bring:
- Knowledge of WHS legislation and best practice standards
- Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Experience working with safety systems, reporting, or compliance frameworks
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver quality outcomes
- Qualifications in WHS (or equivalent experience)
- A current driver’s licence and willingness to travel within NSW as needed
Requirements
~1 min read- Tertiary qualifications in Work Health and Safety or related discipline and/or relevant experience
- Current drivers licence and the ability to travel to client locations across NSW
