The National Parks & Wildlife Service (NPWS) are looking for Spatial Data Officers to join their Spatial Modernisation Project tasked with improving field tools, upgrading critical datasets, and building user-friendly web-based Geographic Information Systems (GIS) apps used by over 2,000 staff across the state.
What you’ll be part of
You’ll join a small, high-performing team of GIS and digital specialists delivering innovative solutions including:
- Developing and rolling out Esri field apps (Survey123, Field Maps, QuickCapture)
- Supporting data migration and modernisation of corporate datasets
- Assisting in building and enhancing web GIS applications
- Working with stakeholders to test, train and drive adoption of new tools
Requirements
~1 min read- Appropriate tertiary qualifications relevant to the discipline or equivalent experience
- Current Australian drivers licence and willingness to fly in light aircraft.
