- POSITION OVERVIEW: We’re immediately hiring a Manufacturing Assembler to join our team full-time! This is a hands-on role for someone with experience assembling small components who also has a strong eye for detail when it comes to cosmetic paint touch-up. You’ll be working on small parts, ensuring both the assembly and final appearance meet strict quality standards prior to inspection. This role includes small-part assembly, light soldering, adhesive bonding, and precision paint touch-up to correct minor surface imperfections. Responsibilities

  • Assemble small electrical and mechanical components using hand tools and work instructions
  • Perform detailed paint touch-up to correct minor cosmetic defects and ensure parts meet visual quality standards
  • Remove masking materials and prepare parts for final inspection
  • Visually inspect parts for surface quality, color consistency, and overall workmanship
  • Perform light soldering on small, detailed components
  • Mix, apply, and cure epoxies and adhesives using taping, fixturing, and oven processes
  • Read and follow blueprints, work instructions, and standard operating procedures
  • Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow all safety and quality procedures
  • Perform additional duties as assigned by management
  • Comply with all DG safety procedures and policies as directed by the Facility Engineer/Safety Director

    Requirements

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Minimum 1 year of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
    • Experience assembling small parts in a manufacturing setting (electronics or mechanical assembly preferred)
    • Experience performing fine paint touch-up or cosmetic surface correction on parts
    • Experience using hand tools and working with small, detailed components
    • Basic soldering experience or willingness to learn
    • Experience working with adhesives, epoxies, or bonding materials
    • Ability to read and follow blueprints and work instructions
    • Basic computer skills
    • Strong hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills
    • High attention to detail and quality workmanship
