Summary Statement
Join our team as a Social Service Administrator and make a meaningful impact by supporting programs that promote healthy aging, independence, and quality of life for older adults and individuals with disabilities.\r\n\r\nThis position will be responsible for the development, implementation, and program management of services and supports that align with the Division’s Healthy Aging programs. As an administrator, you will provide technical assistance to contracted providers, administer comprehensive quality assurance analyses including contract monitoring reviews, and review/approve monthly invoicing and financial tracking of contract funding levels.\r\n\r\nThis position will also support other state and federally funded professional service agreements that deliver home and community-based services for those in the aging and disability networks.\r\n
Essential Functions

Provides technical assistance and recommends course of action.\r\n Prepares interpretative reports of program goals and objectives, provision of services and programs/services ability to meet standards and regulations.\r\n Participates in developing policies, regulations, forms, proposal requests, implementing new procedures, monitors, develops, reviews, updates, negotiates contracts, and/or prepares grant applications.\r\n Acts as liaison with operations' staff, State/Federal agencies and community organizations.\r\n Analyzes problems, applies policy to problem situations, responds to requests for information and questions regarding services.\r\n Assists as consultant, coordinator/liaison for special programs and/or projects.\r\n Assesses impact of proposed rules on current operations financially and programmatically.\r\n May supervise professional staff engaged in monitoring functions, special projects and/or clerical staff performing record keeping functions. \r\n\r\n
Job Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS for Social Service Administrator \r\nApplicants must have education, training and/or experience demonstrating competence in each of the following areas:\r\n\r\n Three years experience in health or human services work�such as applying theories, principles, laws and practices of health or human services programs and services that assist with and improve life for individuals, families, or communities such as financial support, employment, unemployment, housing, health care, disease prevention, substance abuse, child protective services, physical/mental health treatment and prevention or�rehabilitation. \r\n Six months experience in health or human services program administration such as overseeing and directing the development, implementation and evaluation of health or human services programs and services; planning and establishing short and long range program goals and objectives. Providing advice to other agency organizational units through consultation. \r\n Six months experience�in�developing policies or procedures. \r\n Six months experience�in interpreting laws, rules, regulations, standards, policies, and procedures. \r\n Six months experience�in narrative report writing. \r\n\r\n
