Join the Deakin University School of Psychology as a Senior Teaching Fellow (Clinical Educator) and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of psychology education and clinical training. In this influential role, you'll combine clinical leadership, teaching excellence and strategic partnership development to strengthen student learning, expand placement opportunities and enhance community engagement. From supervising future psychologists and driving curriculum innovation, to building meaningful collaborations with health and community organisations, you'll help deliver outstanding outcomes for students, the profession and the broader community

• Lead the establishment, operation and continuous improvement of a psychology training clinic, ensuring high-quality clinical education and service delivery.
• Provide clinical supervision and mentoring to postgraduate psychology placement students, supporting their professional development and readiness for practice.
• Build and strengthen partnerships with health, community and industry organisations to expand placement opportunities and enhance teaching, learning and research outcomes.
• Drive excellence in teaching and learning through curriculum innovation, quality improvement initiatives and evidence-informed educational practices.
• Contribute to governance, accreditation and clinical quality processes while fostering a collaborative and inclusive learning environment for students and colleagues.                                            

• General registration as a psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia, Board-approved supervisor status, and clinical endorsement.
• Extensive post-registration clinical experience, including psychological assessment and therapy across adult and child/adolescent populations.
• Demonstrated experience supervising provisional psychologists or placement students in clinical settings.
• Proven ability to establish, manage or lead clinical services, including governance, quality and risk management.
• A strong track record in teaching, curriculum development and building partnerships that enhance student and community outcomes.
