This role is part of our Creative & Media team based in Rotterdam and Amsterdam. Our team is a vibrant mix of talents, ranging from Creatives, Influencer Marketers, Brand & Content Strategists to Account Managers, Programmatic and Marketing Automation Consultants. Ready to kickstart your career in digital marketing? For our offices in Rotterdam and Amsterdam, we are looking for aspiring digital marketing consultants who want to learn from the best in the business. Our next SEO/GEO Traineeship kicks off in September 2026, and we want you on board.
As a future trainee, we don’t expect you to be a day-one expert in SEO (Search Engine Optimization) or GEO (Generative Engine Optimization). What we do look for is a genuine passion for organic search that you’ve already started developing during your studies, a personal project, or an internship. Over the course of this seven-month traineeship, our international, highly skilled team will introduce you to the cutting-edge world of organic search, while also giving you a front-row seat to other key disciplines like Paid Search, Paid Social, Programmatic, and CRM.
Responsibilities

- →Get a head start on the next generation of search with deep dives into AI search and GEO
Learning by doing is our mantra. Each theoretical module is rounded off with a practical internal assignment. Once you've built a rock-solid foundation, you’ll step right into real client work, collaborating with clever minds for some of the biggest Dutch and global brands.

- A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree (preferably with a focus on marketing, business, or data)
- A strong affinity for the sweet spot where technology meets creativity
- Excellent command of both Dutch and English (written and spoken)
- Prior experience with SEO/GEO is a nice bonus, but absolutely not a dealbreaker. Your drive and curiosity matter more
- A mindset defined by eagerness to learn, proactiveness, strong analytical skills, and the independence to own your growth
- The ambition to finish the seven-month traineeship and officially launch your career as a Junior SEO/GEO consultant at DEPT®
