The Director, Pricing, Contracting, & Deal Desk Solutions leads pricing strategy, offer development, contract performance management, and commercial price discipline across disposable, capital, and service portfolios. The role partners closely with Sales, Marketing, National Accounts, Finance, Legal, IT, Commercial Excellence, and Customer Support to develop pricing and contracting strategies that support growth, profitability, customer retention, and new customer acquisition.

This leader manages and develops a team of pricing and contract performance professionals, establishes governance processes such as the Pricing Committee, builds performance dashboards and KPIs, and uses internal and external data to guide pricing actions. The role also provides deal desk expertise to the sales organization, supports new product launch pricing, monitors market and business conditions, and serves as the primary liaison with third-party financial partners.

Experiences
  • 12+ years of relevant experience with a bachelor’s degree, or 10+ years with a master’s degree
  • Strategic leadership experience, including building vision, strategy, and measurable results
  • People leadership experience managing and developing teams, ideally 2–5 direct reports
  • Experience in Sales, Pricing, Contracts, Finance, or a related commercial function
  • Experience developing and executing pricing strategies across products, regions, or customer segments
  • Experience supporting deal desk operations, offer development, or complex commercial deal structures
  • Experience building KPIs, dashboards, and reporting mechanisms to monitor business performance
  • Experience conducting annual pricing assessments and portfolio pricing reviews
  • Experience partnering with Marketing on new product launch pricing and portfolio growth strategies
  • Experience working cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, IT, Marketing, National Accounts, and Commercial Excellence
  • Experience developing innovative contract designs and business cases to influence key decisions
  • Experience monitoring market, customer, and business trends to recommend pricing or contracting actions
  • Experience serving as a liaison with third-party financial partners or external commercial partners
  • Medical device industry experience preferred
  • Demonstrated success producing accurate, high-quality work under tight timelines

The annualized base salary range for this role is $150,300 to $267,200 and is bonus eligible. Final compensation packages will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
