D&M is seeking to hire a Title Administrator for our accounting team. This role involves processing and completing title work for designated D&M entities related to retail loans, leases, vehicle purchases, renewal registrations for all company vehicles, and any other title transfer needs.
 
The ideal candidate must have a working knowledge of the vehicle title transfer rules and required forms in the state of Texas, as well as experience with CDK software.
 
The role:
•    Prepares and submits all titlework relating to used vehicle sales, retail installment contracts, lease contracts, and any in-house transaction via WebDealer and “over the counter” to various county tax offices. 
•    Calculates sales taxes, title transfer fees, registration fees, and all other applicable governmental fees and ensures.  
•    Identifies any missing or incorrect title documents, communicates with the sales agent, and follows up on missing paperwork.
•    Ensures all titlework and sales taxes is submitted to tax offices within required deadlines.
•    Prepares all title corrections and works with lienholders to ensure security interest is in place.
•    Submits proof of completed titlework to lenders and F&I departments as needed.
•    Reconciles accounting schedules, issues titlework refund checks to customers as needed.
•    Handles various titlework tasks such as replacement plates and all other company titlework requests as needed.
•    Distributes completed titlework and license plates to customers via mail or overnight delivery, as needed
•    Works with sales staff on answering title questions and resolving titlework issues
•    Ensures customer files are updated with proper documentation evidencing title work completion.
•    Supports D&M Controller and D&M CAO and Controller with various title projects and tasks as needed.
 
Qualifications: 
•    Minimum of three years of work experience in vehicle title transfer or automobile dealership title department. 
•   Prior experience in accounting and CDK.       
•    Have a high degree of integrity that shows support for the company, its values, and the employees, while maintaining constant focus on meeting/exceeding requirements and expectations
•    Able to work M-F- Flexible hours: 7-4 pm, 7:30-4:30pm, 8-5, etc. in our Fort Worth Office
 
The pay range for this role is $24-28/hr
